The Youth Zone mobile app works as a portal to access content from the Youth Zone programmes (broadcast by the OAR FM Dunedin radio). The shows offer an unique opportunity for aspiring young broadcasters to learn new skills and have fun while organising and creating their own radio content.
The app contains:
- Videos and podcasts from all Youth Zone shows.
- A section showing featured videos and latest podcasts.
- A gig guide listing upcoming Youth Zone events.
- A live player which broadcasts the OAR FM Dunedin radio.
- Sharing feature to post audio titles/links in Facebook and Twitter.
- Download podcasts to watch later even without Internet connectivity.
- Submit your own recordings or events.
